I remember a bit of a dream,
a bit more of a dream, from another night,
an apartment near Sherbourne and Bloor but on the other side of the DVP or kind of right in it but also North York
like my old apartment
but way up high like the one in Harbour Square
darker, higher
South-facing
near a Loblaws where I would drive and get groceries
another dream of a big tsunami
bowling through Toronto, downtown
all of us in the skyscrapers could see each other watching the water below
did this happen in the day after tomorrow? or was it something else?
I could feel the building swaying
face down on the concrete of the 46th floor
